Scientific Name: Brassica oleracea var.acephala. Kale flake is prepared from fresh kale that is trimmed, chopped and dehydrated which imparts a fresh green color, mild pepper flavor along with a crisp texture. It is ready to use in soups, sauces, dips or spreads along with any recipe needing a nutritional boost or the flavor enhancement of kale. It is very high in beta carotene, vitamin K, vitamin C and rich in calcium.
